What is the PAF?
The Personnel Assessment Form (PAF) is an efficient, accurate measure of cognitive ability designed to identify candidates who will learn quickly, make sound decisions, communicate effectively, and “think on their feet.” Literally thousands of studies provide evidence that cognitive ability is the single greatest predictor of success for most jobs. This compelling research supports cognitive ability as an essential screening tool for selection and placement in a wide variety of jobs. The PAF is a convenient and powerful assessment that is easy to administer and interpret.
Why Should I Use the PAF?
STRONG PREDICTOR OF JOB PERFORMANCE. Studies show that measures of general mental ability provide the greatest predictor of job performance. Individuals scoring high on the PAF tend to be rated by supervisors as having greater promotability. The verbal dimension of the PAF was found to predict higher ratings on written and verbal communications, in addition to higher ratings on managing and training employees.
CONVENIENT. The PAF can be administered in 15 minutes on SIGMA’s online platform – SigmaTesting.com. Reports are generated immediately. Results are presented in a profile with raw scores and percentiles, allowing for fast, accurate interpretation.
